Available Sound is what was created when Robert Gerhart (aka DJ Shadowfax) turned his love of music and club lighting into a professional business. Starting with a Master's Degree in Video Production, Robert delivers a strong technical background including movie theater technician, sound engineer, theater stage manager and theater lighting engineer. Now add to this his time as a walking performer and, of course, Disc Jockey and you can begin to understand how Robert delivers a truly memorable performance.

At the heart of Available Sound is the custom-built computer system known affectionately as Rufus. Named after George Carlin's character in the movie "Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure," Rufus is packed with an ever-growing library of countless thousands of songs ranging from wartime swing to the latest pulse-pounding nightclub and Top-40 tracks. Rufus also houses an extensive Karaoke collection and growing music video library and is capable of locating any track by artist, title or a portion thereof in less than 4 seconds! With over 2 Terabytes (that's 2000 Gigabytes) of storage Rufus is one of the largest single music repositories to be found. Needless to say, guest requests are our speciality!

Music is only part of the show - Available Sound also features nightclub-level lighting that's sure to get your guests out on the dance floor! Our reactive lighting package delivers bright lights in bold colors that move and change with every beat. For the total nightclub experience Available Sound is pleased to deliver one of the only fully intelligent mobile lighting rigs in the area! Powered by Martin Professional Lighting and High End Systems (two of the most highly respected names in club lighting worldwide) these amazing fixtures are completely computer-controlled, turning your Event into a show that has to be seen to be believed!
